I can help because I’ve been there…

I used to think that if I wasn’t running myself into the ground, I wasn’t “momming” hard enough.

My health journey began in my 20’s. I’d always been interested in the newest workout studio and loved to dive headfirst into an interesting recipe. However, I never really understood the importance of health and taking care of myself until after becoming a mother. Post-pregnancy I found myself struggling, as many women do. Struggling with anxiety, extremely low energy levels, my body image, and mental clarity. The lack of sleep, inconsistent schedule, and poor eating habits were running me into the ground. Though I partly thought that if I didn’t feel this way I wasn’t “momming” hard enough.

That all changed when I sought the help of a local nutrition coach. I soon discovered that when I focused on nourishing myself by eating real, whole foods my energy levels, mental clarity, and overall health responded remarkably. I also began to see additional positive changes once I began incorporating a variety of other holistic health practices. My health struggles, along with the help I received, turned into a passion for helping other women.

These experiences drove me to formalize my education by completing my nutrition coaching certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. During my certification process, I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories and eating principles from some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

I know that it can be hard to prioritize ourselves while also ensuring that everyone else’s needs are being met. It is my philosophy that you cannot pour from an empty cup. I take a whole foods and overall holistic approach to full-body health to help my clients lead their lives from a place of abundance. I truly believe that health eating can be easy, fun, and delicious.

Together, we can work to create a personalized plan to help you optimize your health, lose weight, and restore energy levels through developing habits and practices that will support you for a lifetime.
