CRISPY SHIITAKE STRIPS

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shiitake mushrooms (stems removed & slived into strips)

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 tsp avocado oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 450F

  2. After shiitakes have been sliced, place in bowl & sprinkle w/ spices

  3. Mix well with hands

  4. Once mixed, pour 1 tsp oil in hands & gently rub together to coat palms

  5. Massage mushrooms to lightly coat

  6. Repeat steps 4-5 w/ additional tsp of oil

  7. Line pan w/ parchment paper, evenly distribute mushrooms & place pan in oven

  8. Roast for 20 min. (may need an additional 5 min. depending on desired crispiness)

  9. Let cool & enjoy!
