SAUTEED GARLIC KALE W/ LEMON
Ingredients:
1 bunch lacinato (dino) kale
1 tbsp avocado oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1-2 tbsp water
1/2 lemon
salt & pepper to taste
Method:
Rinse, dry, & slice kale into ribbons
Heat pan on low-med heat
Add oil to pan, let heat through, then add garlic
Let cook for approx 30 sec (just enough for garlic to become fragrant)
Add kale to pan & mix through
Add 1 tbsp water to steam kale & avoid burning the garlic (after a few min can add 1 more tbsp of water if necessary)
As kale cooks down season with salt & pepper & continue to mix for even cooking
Once cooked through (approx. 2 min.), turn off heat & squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon on top
Let cool & enjoy!
